  1. Welcome: always say Hi to the customer and ask him/her how is going the day, and if you can’t start with the service on that moment, tell him/her that you will be back in a minute.
  2. Introduction: introduce yourself, but don’t say all your life… just your name and that you will be their waiter that day.
  3. Suggestions: show the drinks menu to the customer, and make some suggestions about the drink of the day.
  4. Order: take the drinks order and leave the menu.
  5. Menu: 5 minutes after giving them the menu take the order and answer questions about the dishes.
  6. Amenities: give them amenities, it can be bread, corn chips, cookies…it depends on the place.
  7. Food: give the correct food to the correct person that asked for it, avoid asking “Who order…?”, that’s annoying.
  8. Look: always look to the table, so you can know if they need something else.
  9. Bill: bring the bill to the table when you see they finish and they wanna go.
  10. Thank: accompany the customer to the exit, thank them and ask them to come back again.
